Graveside services for Joe Morales Escobar, 42, of Lubbock were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, 1990, in the Lorenzo Cemetery.

Interment was under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.

Mr. Escobar was found dead in his automobile outside a club in Lubbock June 11, 1990. Justice of the Peace L.J. Blalack ruled Mr. Escobar´s death a homicide.

He was born in Aguacaliente, Mexico, Feb. 5, 1948 and moved to Lubbock from Crosby County about two years ago.

He was a farm worker.

Survivors include his wife, Eva Lopez; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Mario Escobar of Mexico; one sister, Maria Escobar of Mexico; and two brothers, Rogelio and Filiman Escobar, both of Mexico.
