LORENZO (Special) - Graveside services for J.C. Dutton, 74, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. today in Lorenzo Cemetery with the Rev. Dennis Williams, pastor of Lorenzo First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo.

Dutton died at 11:10 a.m. Tuesday, June 3, 1997, in Lubbock´s University Medical Center following an illness. He was born Aug. 17, 1922, in Grady County, Okla. He was a farmer and lived in Lubbock area most of his life, moving there from Lorenzo in 1952.

Two sons, Danny and Gary, preceded him in death; Danny Dutton in 1995 and Gary Dutton in 1951, and also a grandchild.

Survivors include two sons, Rick and Jamey, both of Lubbock; two daughters, Judy Tubbs of Lubbock and Reba Reinertson of Las Vegas, Nev.; a brother, Jess of Lubbock; a sister, Harriett Steele of Oakland, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
