Services for Mrs. W.W. Darden, 79, are held at Lorenzo Saturday
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday for Mrs. W.W. Darden, 79, of Lorenzo, who died at her home Friday.
C.Y. Pettigrew, minister of the Emma Church of Christ in Ralls, officiated in services at the Lorenzo Church of Christ, assisted by the Rev. H.J. West of the Lorenzo Baptist church. Burial was in the Lorenzo Cemetery.
Mrs. Darden has been a resident of Crosby county for 22 years, first living on the East Plains and later moving to Lorenzo. She is survived by three sons, G.E. Darden of Weatherford, M.T. Darden of Lorenzo and Joe Darden of Ralls; a daughter, Mrs. Will Darden of Abernathy; eleven granchildren and three great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Joe Jennings and Ralph Weise of Lorenzo, Jim Bennett and Randolph Moses of Ralls, Ralph Davis of Abernathy and J.W. Carter of Crosbyton.
