Doug CrouchU.S.Flag   Doug Crouch, 78, of Lorenzo passed away Monday, July 30, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, August 2, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Lorenzo with Rev. Kris Knippa officiating. Burial will follow in Lorenzo Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo.

Doug was born on November 29, 1933 in Haskell, Texas. He graduated from Quinlan High School in 1951 and moved to Lorenzo that same year. He married Ann Mitchell on October 8, 1954 in Idalou. He served in the US Army from 1956 to 1962. After his discharge he returned to Lorenzo. He was an Electric Motor Repairman. He helped opened and was the general manager for Brandon & Clarke in Hereford from 1970 to 2000. He also helped start AMBUCS in Hereford and was a big brother for Big Brothers/Big Sisters. They moved back to Lorenzo in 2000. He was a 32nd degree mason and a member of the First Baptist Church in Lorenzo.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Nelson and Doris Crouch and one brother: Joe Crouch.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Crouch of Lorenzo, his children: Berry Douglas Crouch and wife Sandy of Spring, Mary Ann Alexander and husband Randy of Lubbock and Tammy Crouch of Lorenzo, one brother: Jansco Crouch of Lubbock, 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Research Foundation, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
