Obituary

Earl Coulter Earl Coulter, 90, of Deleon formerly of Lorenzo passed away Thursday, November 1, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, November 6, 2012, at the First Baptist Church in Lorenzo, with Rev. Kris Knippa officiating. Burial will follow in the Lorenzo cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home -Lorenzo.

A viewing for family and friends will be Monday, November 5th from 2 � 6 pm at Adams Funeral Home in Lorenzo.

Earl was born on January 17, 1922, in Gore TX, to the late William Hamilton and Ella Mae (Davis) Coulter. He married Edith Lyle Nettles, August 10, 1941 in Brownfield; Earl graduated from high school and had 3 years in college, when he went enlisted in the Navy during WWII. He has worked as a butcher for several years before going to work at the Lorenzo Post Office where he was the Postmaster for 26 years before his retirement. Earl was a member of the First Baptist Church and the local Lorenzo Domino club, and became avid golfer, fisherman in his retirement; but one thing he loved more of was being able to spend time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two infants, four sisters, Jerri Lincoln, Thelma Corbell, Ruby Lewis, Opal Carroll, one brother, Fred Coulter.

Survivors include his wife, Edith Lyle Coulter, one son, Glen Coulter and his wife Christa, one sister, Evelyn Coker, one brother, R.D. Coulter, two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brad Aycock, Lester Bownds, Ray Parker, Larry Wampler, Marvin Schoepf, Larry Moore, and Jack Gestes honorary pallbearer.

Edith Coulter, 86, of DeLeon TX., formerly of Lorenzo passed away at the DeLeon Nursing and Rehab Center on Sunday, March 24, 2013.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, March 27, 2013 in the Lorenzo Cemetery with Rev. Kris Knippa, pastor of First Baptist Church officiating. Burial is under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo.

A viewing will be held for all her family and friends at Adams Funeral Home in Lorenzo on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 from 9:00 A.M until 10:00 A.M. at which time her casket will be taken to the cemetery for the burial services at 10:30 A.M.

Edith was born August 20, 1926 in Ropesville, TX to the late Lloyd �Dude� and Florence Lorane (Carter) Nettles. She married the love of her life Thomas �Earl� Coulter August 10, 1941 in Brownfield; he preceded her in death November 1, 2012. Edith worked as a Teacher�s Aide in the Lorenzo ISD, attended the First Baptist Church in Lorenzo and she loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death her parents, her husband, two infants, two brothers, G.W. Nettles Lloyd Keith Nettles and a sister, Bobbie Gean Nettles.

Survivors include her son, Glenn Coulter and wife Christa of DeLeon TX, two sisters, Francis Danford of Lewisville TX, Carol Jo Cobb of Fort Worth TX, two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins to cherish her memory.
