LORENZO (Special) — Services for Ora C. Clemmons, 74, of Lorenzo will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Lorenzo First Baptist Church. The Rev. Jerry Golden, pastor, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Hollis Payne, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Floydada and by Robert Cortinas of Floydada.Burial will follow in Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
Mrs. Clemmons died at 10:20 p.m. Tuesday in Highland Hospital in Lubbock.
The Clarksville native moved to the South Plains in 1924. She was a retired nurse. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Floydada.
Survivors include a son, Johnny Sands of Honolulu, Hawaii; a sister, Mrs. Elbert Parks of Floydada; and three grandchildren.
