Gertrudis CisnerosServices for Gertrudis Cisneros, 70, of 2940 E. Baylor will be at 4 p.m. today at San Lorenzo Catholic Church in Lorenzo with the Rev. Gerry Frawley, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Lorenzo Cemetery under the direction of Carter-Adams Funeral of Ralls.

She died at 5:30 p.m. Friday at St. Mary´s Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Born in Pawnee, she had been a resident of Lubbock since 1970. She previously had lived in Crosbyton. She married Gudalupe Cisneros on June 10, 1938, in Pawnee.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Eugene of Houston, Epifanio of Alvin and Rene of Lorenzo; two daughters, Ester Lopez of Lubbock and Susie Reyna of Ralls; two brothers, Jose Garza and Rumaldo Garza, Jr., both of Pawnee; two sisters, Victoria Garcia of Corpus Christi and Eulalia Cisneros of Pawnee; 20 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Guadalupe Cisneros Services for Guadalupe Cisneros, 90, of Lorenzo were at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, 2001, at San Lorenzo Catholic Church with the Rev. Roland Buxkemper officating.

Rosary was said at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, 2001, at San Lorenzo Catholic Church.

Burial was in Lorenzo Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo.

He died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2001 at Lakeside Rehabilitation & Care Center in Lubbock.

He was born March 13, 1911, in Bee County, TX. He married Gertrudis Garza in June 1938. She died Dec. 13, 1984.

He was a member of the San Lorenzo Catholic Church. He had worked as a farmer and moved to Lorenzo in 1985. He was preceded in death by a son, Reynaldo Cisneros on May 6, 1972, and a daughter, Jesusita "Susie" Reyna, on May 13, 2001.

Survivors include three sons, Eugene Cisneros and Epifanio Cisneros, both of Houston, and Rene Cisneros of Lorenzo; a daughter, Ester Lopez of Lubbock; 20 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
