LORENZO (Special) Services for Catalina Mojica Chavez, 88, of Lorenzo will be at 4 p.m. today in San Lorenzo Cathoic Church with the Rev. Sean Sweeney of Idalou officiating.
Burial will be in Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home ofRalls.
She died about 3 a.m. Tuesday in Lubbock´s West Texas Hospital after a lengthy illness.
She was a native of Yvarrilla, Mexico, and moved to Lorenzo from Rosebud in 1944.
Survivors include her husband, Victor; five sons, Felipe of Austin, Jose and Manuel, both of Lubbock,Julian of Los Angeles, Calif., and Jessie of Idalou; two daughters, Juanita Lozoya of Hereford and Victoria Macias of South Bend, Ind.; two brothers, Pancho Mojica of Lubbock and Rosendo Mojica of Idalou; a sister, Maria Gonzales of Lubbock; 42 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
