Graveside services for Wilburn Lee Chandler, 66, of Lorenzo were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, 1998 at the Lorenzo Cemetery with the Rev. Dennis Williams officiating.
Burial will be in the Lorenzo Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.
Mr. Chandler died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 1998, at his Lorenzo residence where he was under hospice care.
He was born Mar. 1, 1932, in Artesia, NM. He married Christine Lobstein on Aug. 20, 1952, in Clovis, NM.
He was a member of the Lorenzo First Baptist Church. He was a carpenter and lived in Lorenzo most of his life.
A son, David Lee Chandler, preceded him in death Oct. 27, 1990.
Survivors include his wife, Christine Chandler of Lorenzo; one son, Carl Chandler of Lubbock; one daughter, Debbie Timmins of Lorenzo; one brother, William Chandler of Bakersfield, CA; one step-brother, Kenneth McClain of Cleburne; two sisters, Pauline Graves and Doris Brandt, both of Midland, TX; one step-sister, Della Manley of Lubbock; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Christine Chandler 80 of Ransom Canyon formerly of Lorenzo passed away Saturday June 1, 2013 in Lubbock. Graveside Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday June 4, 2013 in the Lorenzo Cemetery with the Rev. Les Reed officiating. Burial will be under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo.
A visitation will be held Monday June 3, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home in Lorenzo.
Christine was born November 14, 1932 in Crosby County to Roy David and Mildred Lane Lobstein. She married Wilburn Lee Chandler on August 20, 1952 in Clovis New Mexico. She loved spending time with her family especially her granddogs. She loved reading and listening to music.
Christine is preceded in death by her parents, husband and a son David Lee Chandler.
She is survived by a son Carl Chandler of Lubbock County, a daughter Debbie Timmons of Ransom Canyon. Three sisters Ida Francis Gardner of Farmersville, Opal Johnson of Cleburne, and Elaine McClain of Cleburne.
