U.S.Flag   LORENZO (Special) — Services for Thomas J. Carter, 61, of Lorenzo are set for 2 p.m. today in Lorenzo First Baptist Church with the Rev. Gerald Mounce, associate pastor, of First Baptist officiating. Burial will be in Lorenzo Cemetery under the direction of Carter Funeral Home in Ralls.

Carter died Sunday at Fort Lyons Veterans Administration Hospital in Fort Lyons, Colo.

A native of Lynnville, Tenn., he had moved to Lorenzo in 1950 from Oklahoma. He was a World War II veteran and a retired farmer.

He was married to Bonnie Marie Satterfield in Hugo, Okla., on Aug. 8, 1943.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, John Thomas of Houston and Jamas Davis of Scott Air Force Base, Ill.; his mother, Mrs. Annie Lacer of Wewoka, Okla.; a brothers, Joseph of Ralls; and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Don Nickson, Earl Coulter, Vernon King, Leon Moore, Gwinn Boyd, Jerry Robertson, J.D. Henry and Mark Gilbreath.
