Services for Robert Lee Capps, 82, of Lorenzo were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Lorenzo First Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Lacy, pastor, officiating.

Burial was in Lorenzo Cemetery with Masonic rites under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home in Ralls.

Capps died about noon Monday in Lubbock´s Methodist Hospital.

The Bastrop County native and oil field pumper moved to Lorenzo about three months ago from Mentone. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Pecos and the Order of the Eastern Star in Pecos.

Survivors include his wife, Ann; a son, Bobby Joe of Amarillo; five sisters, Mrs. Joe Rice of Austin and Mrs. Idilia McIver, of Austin, Mrs. Ola Reynolds of Houston, Mrs. Pearl Cassling of Santa Fe, N.M., and Mrs. Leota Black of Weismar; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Pallbearers were: Roger Park, Fred Park, Steve Park, J.L. Beaty, Darrel Beaty and Bill Beaty.

Services for Ann Capps, 93, of McKinney and formerly Lorenzo will be at 2:00 PM, Friday,

November 23, 2007 at Adams Funeral Home in Ralls with Rev. Wes Collins officiating. Burial will be in the Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

Ann passed away Monday, November 19, 2007 at Plano Medical Center.

She was born November 25, 1913 in Denton County to the late John Robert and Emma (Coward) Park. On July 21, 1928 she married Robert Lee Capps in Baird. He preceded her in death on January 23, 1978.

Ann was a homemaker and longtime member of the Lorenzo First Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Pecos Order of Eastern Star #81.

Survivors include; a son; Bob Capps of Dallas, two grandchildren, two step grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

The family will receive friends Friday, November 23, 2007 from 1:00 PM to service time at the funeral home.
