LORENZO (Special) — Graveside services for O.D. "Jack" Cain, 72, of Lubbock will be at 4 p.m. Saturday in Lorenzo Cemetery with Dee Lancaster, of Caprock Church of Christ, officiating.

Burial will be under direction of Rest Lawn, Wilsons´ Funeral Directors of Lubbock.

Cain died Wednesday, July 12, 1995, in St. Mary Hospital.

He was born Dec. 18, 1922, in White House. He married Louise King on Oct. 9, 1966 in Tyler.

He was a cotton ginner, and he retired from Eagle Pitcher.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Donna Jennings of Cross Plains, Debbie DeAx of Big Spring and Danita Cain of Lubbock; a son, Dorian of Lubbock; a stepdaughter, Marie Bounds of Scottsdale, Ariz.; a stepson, Richard King of Lanette, Ala.; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to a favorite charity.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today.

Edna CainEdna Louise Rainwater Cain, 83, of Fountain Hills, Arizona passed away late Thursday night, November 2, 2006 surrounded by her family.

A family visitation was at 2:00 p.m. Monday, Nov. 6 at Adams Funeral Home, Lorenzo. Graveside services were at Lorenzo Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. Monday, Nov. 6, 2006. Born July 1, 1923 in Ralls, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Myrtle Rainwater.

Louise was twice widowed and is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Marie and Gail Bounds of Scottsdale, AZ, son and daughter-in-law Richard and Vickie King of Lanett, Alabama. Two brothers, Alford Rainwater of Lorenzo, TX and Wayne Rainwater and wife, Rosalyn of Dougherty, TX. She was preceded in death by a brother Willard Rainwater.

She will greatly be missed by her 5 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, plus her extended family at North Valley Church of Christ.
