Mrs. Mary E. Brooks, 81, of 3009 Ave. M died at 6:10 a.m. Monday in Golden Age Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Sanders Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Peyton Fullingim, retired Baptist minister, officiating. Burial will be in Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Sanders.
Mrs. Brooks was a native of Parker County and she moved to Lubbock 2 years ago from Estacado.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. E.P. Reed of 3015 Ave. M.
