LORENZO (Special) — Mrs. Jennie Maude Bowers, 84, a resident of Lorenzo for 51 years, died about 11 a.m. Saturday in Methodist Hospital in Lubbock.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Lorenzo First Baptist Church with the Rev. Rou Davidson, pastor, officiating, assisted by the Rev. W.O. Donley, pastor of the Roosevelt Baptist Church. Burial will be in Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Carter Funeral Home, Ralls.
Born in Batesville, Ark., Mrs. Bowers came to Lorenzo from Stephens in 1941.
Survivors include one son, Millard Bowers, Marble Falls, Tex.; one daughter, Mrs. Lois McGee, Lorenzo; one brother, Will Stewart, Lubbock; a sister, Miss Eva Stewart, Lorenzo; six grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
