U.S.Flag     Services for E. D. Bowen, 64, of 1925 A-22nd St. were at 2 p.m. Monday in Sanders Funeral Home with the Rev. Fred Meeks, pastor of the Oakwood Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial was in Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Sanders Funeral Home.

Bowen died about 10:30 p.m. Saturday in his residence. Justice of the Peace Charles Smith ruled death was by natural causes.

He was born in Runnels County and moved to Lubbock in 1934 from Lorenzo. He was a veteran of World War II with the Army and was a former partner with the Yellow Cab Co. of Lubbock.

Survivors include a sister, Odell of Lubbock; and a brother, J.C. of Littlefield.
