U.S.Flag   LORENZO (Special) — Services for Roscoe Bounds, 80, of Lorenzo will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Lorenzo First Baptist Church with James Howell of Denton officiating.

Burial will be in Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

Bounds died Friday, March 4, 1994, in Lubbock´s University Medical Center.

He was born on Sept. 1, 1913, in Powderly. He married Vernon Lavon Moore on Oct. 8, 1938, in Paris. She died on June 4, 1968. He married Texie Lou Amy Purser on April 17, 1970, in Lorenzo. He was a carpenter and veteran of the U.S. Navy. A daughter, Audrey Kilcrease, died in 1992.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Gail of Scottsdale, Ariz., Robert of Denton and Aubrey of Heavener, Okla.; a daughter, Patricia Barron of Lubbock; a stepson, Edward Purser of Durant, Okla.; four stepdaughters, Ruth Ashworth of Beaumont, Irene Thompson of Lubbock, Mary Sue Chase of Astoria, Ore., and Winona Harrell of Tucson, Ariz.; a brother, Pat of Powderly; 12 grandchildren; 21 stepgrandchildren; nine great grandchildren; 35 great step grandchildren; and tow great great grandchildren.
