Obituary

LORENZO - (Special) - Services for Ellis Wingo, 87, of Lorenzo will be at 2 p.m. today in the Lorenzo First Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Golden, pastor, officiating and Rev. John Jenkins, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Lockney, assisting.

Burial will be in the Estacado Cemetery under the direction of the Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

Wingo died at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Ralls Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.

Born in Stephenville, he married Rubye Michael April 1, 1920 in Estacado. She died Sept. 3, 1971. He was a retired farmer and a veteran of World War I.

Survivors include a brother, Pete of California.
