Graveside services for Valley Sue Wilmeth, 74 years, 7 months, and 14 days, of Lubbock, were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 29th, at Estacado Cemetery in Lubbock County.
Valley Sue passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2008, at Covenant Medical Center. She was born on Dec.13, 1933, in Quemado Valley to Carel Kendrick and Vera V. (Walker) Wilmeth. She graduated from Ralls High School in 1951. Valley Sue was a retired telephone operator and worked in Austin, Lubbock, and San Diego, Calif.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Elton, Alton, Mack, and Bill Wilmeth; and sisters, Elnora and Bonnie Wilmeth.
Survivors include brothers, W.C. Wilmeth of Lubbock and Thorne Wilmeth of Ralls; sister, Juanelle Daldal of San Francisco; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
