Obituary

Services for Mrs. Ella Kelsey, 85, of Lorenzo, were held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Lorenzo Church of Christ with Tommy Jackson, minister officiating.

Burial was in the community of Estacado Cemetery under the direction of Ralls Funeral home.

Mrs. Kelsey, who lived within five miles of her birthplace all her life, died at her home about 8:30 a.m. Friday, following an apparent heart attack.

Born at Estacado Community, Mrs. Kelsey lived there until moving to Lorenzo five years ago.

The former Ella Linn, she married Elmer Kelsey in Old Emma in 1908. He died Feb. 27, 1970.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lorraine Blalock of Abernathy; three sons, Harry of Lorenzo, Cecil of 3403 20th St., Lubbock and Richard of Lorenzo; a brother, Dee[Dick] Linn of Lubbock; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Grandsons served as pallbearers.
