Obituary

Mabry GreenhawMabry Greenhaw 74 of Crosbyton passed away Wednesday June 11, 2014. He was born January 12, 1940 in Lorenzo Texas to Henry Ford and Mabel Mabry Greenhaw. He graduated Idalou High School in 1957 and started managing a fertilizer business before going into the banking and finance and later farming. He was very instrumental in the God Country productions at Mt. Blanco. He directed Hee Haw productions for several years raising money for the God�s Country ampi- theatre. He served on the Pioneer Memorial Museum Board.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one son Charlie Smith in 1982.

Mabry is survived by his wife Twig,two daughters; Melissa Petty of Snyder and Sammie Davenport of Sterlin Virginia. He also leaves behind two sons; Michael Greenhaw of Monett Missouri and Marlon Greenhaw of Estacado, one sister Nancy Greenhaw of Lubbock, thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church in Petersburg. Burial will follow in the Estacado Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton. A visitation will be held Thursday from 6:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home in Crosbyton. Family request in lieu of flowers memorials be given to the Pioneer Memorial Museum 101 West Main Crosbyton Texas 79322.

Elizabeth Greenhaw photoElizabeth �Twig� Greenhaw, 74, of Crosbyton passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2014.

She was born January 4, 1940, in New York, New York, to Francis Edwin and Liza Reid Brennan. Twig married Mabry Greenhaw on July 31, 1980 in Tulia, TX. "She loved supporting and working alongside her husband in the Hee- Haw and God Country productions at Mt Blanco, raising money for the God's Country amphitheater. She was a talented artist, composer, and was an employee of the Pioneer Memorial Museum.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Mabry Greenhaw; and one son, Charlie Smith.

Twig is survived by two daughters; Melissa Petty of Snyder, Sammie Davenport of Sterling, VA; two sons, Michael Greenhaw of Monett, Mo., Marlon Greenhaw of Estacado; one sister Julie Babb of Maine; one sister-in-law, Nancy Greenhaw of Lubbock; thirteen grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be held 2 P.M. Sunday, August 10, 2014 at Estacado Cemetery, a Memorial will follow at 4 P.M. at the Pioneer Memorial Building in Crosbyton.
