Olin Bryant Funeral Held in Idalou
Funeral services for Olin Bryant, 73, of Idalou were at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Idalou First United Methodist Church with the Rev. James Price, pastor, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Larry Heard of Idalou.Burial was in Estacado Cemetery in Estacado under the direction of Carter-Adams Funeral home of Ralls.
Bryant died Monday in the Golden Age nursing Home in Lubbock after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Estacado and moved to Idalou in 1973 from Lubbock. He married Nell Smith in Cone on May 14, 1958. He was a retired farmer and rancher.
He was a Methodist.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Darlene Fulton of Floydada; a stepdaughter, Mrs. James Lancaster of Idalou; a son, Buckles Bryant of Idalou; a stepson, Wayland Smith of Mineral Wells; three brothers, J.N. of Hobbs, NM, and Robert and Buster both of Estacado; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
