Bryant Rites Set At Estacado Today

Funeral service for Homer V. Bryant, 75, of Deming, N.M., who died Tuesday in a Big Spring hospital, will be held at 2:30 p.m. today in the Estacado Baptist Church.

Burial will be in the Estacado cemetery with the Rev. Robert Knight, Becton Methodist minister, officiating, assisted by the Rev. R. D. Webster, Lorenzo Baptist minister, and the Rev. R. W. Harris, Becton Baptist minister. Nephews will be pallbearers. Franklin-Mallett Funeral Home of Lubbock is in charge of arrangements.

Bryant was born in Fannin County. He moved to Lubbock County in 1896 and worked as a cowboy and ranch foreman on several ranches near Muleshoe, Lubbock and Estacado.

Survivors include: three sisters, Mrs. W. E. Reeves, Matador, Mrs. A. M. Becton, Petersburg, and Mrs. Albert Beckner, Littlefield; and two brothers, W. L. Bryant, Petersburg, and Herbert Bryant, Elkhart, Kan.
