WHITE SETTLEMENT (Special) - Graveside services for John C. Wimberly, 81, of White Settlement will be at 4 p.m. today in Emma Cemetery in Ralls with the Rev. Lee Fuller, pastor of First Baptist Church in Ralls, officiating.

Burial will be under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

Wimberly died at 8:45 p.m. Friday in White Settlement Hospital after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Tecumseh, Okla. and had lived in San Angelo, Olton, Ralls, Crosbyton and Kalgary. He was married to Margaret Ruth Batlershell, who preceded him in death several years ago. He was a retired farmer and ginner. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include five sons, Kermit of Bedford, Jack of Sulphur Springs, James of Fort Worth, Clyde of Marble Falls, Rex of Davis; a daughter, Sue Wimberly of Fort Worth; a sister, Marie Alexander of Oklahoma City, Okla.; 19 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
