Obituary

Lee Bolinger, 73 year old resident of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Monday, May 2, in the Woodland Manor Nursing Home after an extended illness.

He was born August 3, 1909 at Cone, the son of Charles and Clara Bolinger. He was a retired Farmer and Minister of the Primitive Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Olive of the home; three sons, Charles of Rogers, Ark., Jessie Ray and Billy Fred, both of Siloam Springs; two daughters, Mrs. Katy Kaufman of Siloam Springs, Ark. and Mrs. Minnie Lou Huckaby of Enid, Okla.; one brother, Louis Bolinger of Highfill, Ark.; one sister, Mrs. Vina Vay of Bentonville, Ark.; sixteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren; he was preceded in death by a daughter, Lora Pearl in 1930.

Graveside rites were held Thursday at 4 p.m. at the Emma Cemetery by Elder Joe Jackson of Cone and Elder Neeley Richardson of Floydada Primitive Baptist ministers. Burial was by Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

He was a long time resident of the Cone community.

SILOAM SPRINGS, ARK. (Special) - Services for Olive Jessie Bolinger, 77, of Siloam Springs will be 10 a.m. today in Backstrom-Pyeatte Chapel.

Graveside services will be in Old Emma Cemetery in Ralls at 2 p.m. Saturday under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home in Ralls with Charles Holmes, elder of Primitive Baptist Church, officiating.

Mrs. Bolinger died Wednesday afternoon in Springdale Memorial Hospital in Springdale after an illness.

She was born in Guthrie and married W. L. Bolinger. He died May 2, 1983. A daughter, Laura Pearl, died Aug. 26, 1930. She was a homemaker and a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Charles Edwin, Jessie Ray and Billy Fred, all of Siloam Springs; two daughters, Minnie Lee Huckaby and Kathy Lynette Patterson, both of Siloam Springs; two sisters, Mildred Bolinger of Arkansas and Bert Smith of Amarillo; two brothers, Charles Miller of Whitesboro and Marvin Miller of Thornton, Colo.; 22 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
