CROSBYTON (Special) - Graveside services for Robert Lee Winegar, 48, of Wallis will be 4 p.m. today in Crosbyton Cemetery with the Rev. Lester B. Griffin, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
He died at 7:45 p.m. Thursday in Eagle Lake Community Hospital after a sudden illness.
He was born in Crosbyton and moved from Victoria to Wallis in 1987. He married Jane Lakatos on July 22, 1985, in La Porte. He graduated from Crosbyton High School and Texas Tech University, and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a board member and manager of Tavener Cotton Gin in Walls. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Scott McKenzie and Joseph McKenzie, both of Wallis and Todd Winegar of Lubbock; a daughter, Cindi of Lubbock; his parents, Arlind and Alma Winegar of Henderson; a brother, Harvey of Cleveland; and a sister, Georgia Ann Berry of Blair, Okla.
