Obituary

CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Z.D. Williams, 64, of Crosbyton will be at 11 am. Wednesday at Crosbyton First Baptist Church with the Rev. H.L. Phillips, pastor of Crosbyton´s Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church, and the Rev. C.C. People officiating.

Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.

He died Saturday, May 4, 1996, at St. Mary Hospital in Lubbock.

He was born Oct. 24, 1931 in Crosbyton and married Emma Jean Florence on July 31, 1991; in Dickens. He was a member of the Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church, where he was president of Brotherhood and assistant superintendent of Sunday school. He was a former treasurer of the church. He lived in the Crosbyton area all his life.

He was a farmer and worked for Bob Perkins for several years and for Brooks Ellison Farms.

Survivors include his wife, Emma; the mother of his children, Delores Williams of Crosbyton; nine sons, Bobby Joe, Johnny and Bill, all of Crosbyton, Willie and Roy, both of Garland, Dale and Paul, both of Columbus, GA, Otis of Sweetwater and Gregory of Lubbock.
