Obituary
Funeral services for C.R. (Red) Williams, 58, resident of Crosbyton for 19 years, were held at 3 p.m. Monday in First Methodist Church. Rev. Carlton Thomson, pastor, officiated, assisted by Rev. Otis Testerman, pastor of First Baptist Church.Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of King Funeral Home.
Mr. Williams died at 3 a.m. Sunday in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital following a heart attack. He had become ill in November but was thought to be getting along satisfactorily.
Williams was born in Gatesville and moved to Crosbyton in 1942. He was engaged in the trucking business.
He is survived by his wife, Tamma; two sons, David E. of Oklahoma City and Don K., Grand Prairie; a daughter, Mrs. Melvin Copeland, Ralls; his mother, Mrs. W.E. Williams, Crosbyton; two sisters, Mrs. Jack Marsh and Mrs. J.W. Hinson, Crosbyton; three brothers, O.B. of Lubbock, T.G. of Fort Worth, and M.M. of Gatesville; and four grandchildren.
