Marie Wiley Graveside services for Marie Wiley, 99, of Crosbyton were held at 2 p.m., Friday Feb. 25, 2000, at Crosbyton First Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Wiley officiating.

Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.

She died Feb. 22, 2000, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.

She was born Aug. 24, 1900, in Hearne, TX.

She married Robert Wiley in Mart, TX. He died in September of 1986.

She was a member of Galilee Baptist Church. She was a homemaker. She moved to Crosbyton from Mart in 1943.

She was preceded in death by a son, Mitchell Coppage Jr., on May 1, 1999.

Survivors include four sons, Robert Coppage of Lubbock, Edward Coppage, Wilbert Wiley Jr., and the Rev. Billy Joe Wiley, all of Crosbyton; eight daughters, Mable Willis of Slaton, Texanna Townsel of Muleshoe, Odessa Lewis of Lubbock, Katherine Robison of Crosbyton, Nellen Bradley and Aria Lee Kennedy, both of Clovis N.M., and Verdie Cornelius and Willie Lewis, both of Lubbock; 41 grandchildren; 75 great-grandchildren; 53 great-great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-great-grandchildren; and four great-great-great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were grandsons Robert E. Coppage, Jr., Edward E. Coppage, Jr., Tommy L. Cornelius; Raymond Lewis, Jr., Scott A. Cornelius, and Lewis H. Johnson, Jr.

Honorary Pall Bearers included grandsons Curtis Kennedy, Charles Shields, Otis shields, Mitchell Dixon, Billy J. Wiley, Jr., Wilbert E. Wiley, Carl W. Wiley, Eric Wiley, Derreck Wiley, Lovan Coppage, Emery Coppage, Bobby Jackson, and Willie Jackson.
