Obituary

Funeral services for Irene Wiedeman, 79, of Azusa, California, were held Thursday, January 26, 1989, at 2 p.m. at the Crosbyton First United Methodist Church.

Rev. Jo Carr, pastor, officiated with burial following in the Crosbyton Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

Mrs. Wiedeman died Sunday, Jan. 22, 1989, at 4:48 p.m. at the Van Dora Hospital in Glendora, California.

Born in Anson, Texas, Aug. 16, 1909, Mrs. Wiedeman was preceded by her husband, George Wiedeman, April 29, 1969.

She was a retired nurse and lived in Lubbock from 1954 to 1960. She moved to Azusa, CA, three years ago from Texas.

Mrs. Wiedeman is survived by one son, Mike, of Azusa; two daughters, Carol McCracken of Dallas, and Doris Logan of Arlington.

Her brother, Pat Raymond Smith, died the same day as Mrs. Wiedeman in Lubbock.
