Services for Iva Mae White, 77, of Lubbock were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, 1987 in Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Danny McClintock, pastor of Wedgewood Baptist Church, officiating, assisted by Brother Monty Hilliard, pastor of Quaker Avenue Baptist Church.

Burial followed in Crosbyton Cemetery.

Mrs. White died at 8:35 a.m. Saturday, April 11, 1987 in St. Mary´s Hospital after a lengthy illness.

She was born in Avoca and moved from Kress to Lubbock in 1965. She married J.C. White on February 14, 1948 in Texas. He died in 1970. She was a homemaker and a member of Quaker Avenue Baptist Church.

Survivors include: two stepsons: Riley of Idalou and Carl of Albuquerque, NM; two stepdaughters: Esteele White of Lovington, NM and Frances Ashcraft of Rogers; a sister: Oneta Winegar of Levelland; a brother: Quentin Macon of Lubbock; 15 grandchildren: 22 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.
