Obituary
Memorial services for Lecy Mae Whitchurch, 77, of Lubbock were held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, 1994, in Lubbock´s Bellaire Baptist Church with Rev. Scot Edmondson, pastor, officiating.Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, 1994, in the Crosbyton Cemetery with Rev. S.W. Keeton of Lubbock officiating.
Arrangements were under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
Mrs. Whitchurch died at 5:55 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, 1994, in Lubbock´s Methodist Hospital following an illness.
She was born Sept. 25, 1917, in Cherokee County, TX. She married Galen Whitchurch July 2, 1938 in Lubbock. He preceded her in death June 29, 1981. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bellaire Baptist Church where she was a member of the Agape Sunday School Class. She was a member and Past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Crosbyton Chapter. She moved to Lubbock in 1967 from Crosbyton.
Survivors include her daughter and her husband, Pam and Larry Schepers of Lubbock; two sisters, Verline Redman of Amarillo and Marguerite Yow of Mobile, AL; two granddaughters, Stephenie Fields of Goldsboro, NC and April Schepers of Waco; and one great grandchild, Hunter Fields of Goldsboro, NC.
