Services for Richard Wheeless, 65, of Shoreacres, formerly of Crosbyton will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at the Crosbyton First Baptist with Rev. Les Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in the Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
Richard passed away Saturday, March 26, 2011 in Houston. He was born February 14, 1946 in Erick, Oklahoma to B. H. and Gladys (Powers) Wheeless. He married Charliece Holcomb September 19, 1964 in Crosbyton. He was a machinist at Bay Port Training.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Gaylon Wheeless.
Survivors include his wife, Charliece Wheeless of Shoreacres, two daughters, Kristi Wheeless of Austin and Jami Callan and her husband Bruce of Baytown, one brother and his wife, Edmond and Linda Wheeless of Brownwood, a sister-in-law, Pam Wheeless of Lubbock and two precious grandchildren, Carli Wheeless and James Callan.
