CROSBYTON (Special) Graveside services for Doris A. Weaks, 88, of Crosbyton will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Crosbyton Cemetery with the Rev. Lee Griffin officiating.Burial is under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.
He died Friday, Feb. 4, 2000, at his home.
He was born Feb. 7, 1911, in Childress. He married Cora Lee Stephenson on Dec. 30, 1929, in Lubbock. She died May 6, 1991. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Lubbock. He worked for the City of Lubbock and at Modern Chevrolet as a parts man. He moved to Crosbyton from Slaton in 1988.
Survivors include a daughter, Jane "Skip" Simmons of Crosbyton; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
