CROSBYTON (Special) - Graveside rites for Oliver Lee Watson, 65, of Kingsland will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Crosbyton Cemetery with the Rev. Randy Butler, associate pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.Burial will be under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.
Watson, a native of Ardmore, Okla., died at 10:45 a.m. Sunday in Seton Hospital in Austin after a lengthy illness.
He was a graduate of Crosbyton High School and attended Texas Tech. The World War II veteran was a member of the Disabled Veterans of America. He married Frances Crump in Crosbyton and they had lived in Kingsland for 12 years, moving there from Crosbyton.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Gary of Diamond Springs, Calif.; his mother, Vervean Watson of Plainview; a brother, Edwell of Krum; and a sister, Lucille Weldon of Hale Center.
