Crosbyton (Special) Services for Virgie E. Warren, 94, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Crosbyton Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Roy Eason, pastor, officiating.Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.
She died at 12:45 a.m. Thursday at Crosbyton Care Center after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Paris. She married Henry Haskell Warren in 1905 in Paris. He died in 1969. She was a housewife. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church where she taught Sunday School. She moved to Crosbyton in 1924 from Lorraine.
Survivors include a son, Doyle of Lubbock; five daughters, Mary Dobson of Crosbyton, Ruby Jewell Stone of Slaton, Earlene Kropp of Sudan, Ruth Hickok of Mexia, Faye Shipman of Brownwood; a brother, Jim David of Johnsondale, Calif.; two sisters, Eula Compton of Oklahoma and Alice of Vancouver, Wash.; 35 grandchildren; 80 great grandchildren; and 17 great great grandchildren.
Great grandsons will be pallbearers.
