Robert Walters photoCROSBYTON — Church Services for Robert Elvis Walters, 47, of Spur will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at the First Baptist Church of Crosbyton with Scott Walters officiating and Ricky Lawrence assisting. Interment will follow at Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Zapata Funeral Home of Spur.

Robert passed from this life on April 17, 2014, in Midland. Robert was born on Nov. 15, 1966, in Crosbyton. He attended Crosbyton High School. He then attended SPAG for Law Enforcement. Robert was a Texas Peace Officer for 13 years. He married Penni Butler on June 17, 2000, in Dickens. Robert worked for 4 Star Construction. He enjoyed football, dirt track racing, and guns.

He is survived by his wife, Penni Walters; daughter, Shara Walters; sons, Colt Walters, and Wyatt Walters; grandmother, Viola Marley; mother and stepfather, Yvonnda and Gene Holcomb; brother, and sister-in-law, Scott and Heather Walters; two nieces, Trinity and Teegan; and one nephew, Tuff. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Elvis Marley and a brother, Samuel Walters. Memorial Donations can be made to the American Diabetics Association.
