Clayton Wallace photo U.S.Flag     CROSBYTON (Special) Memorial services for Clayton Wallace, 53, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. today in Adams Funeral Home Cahpel with the Rev. Bill Smith, pastor of Trinity Baptist Church in Post, officiating.

Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

Wallace died Sunday at his residence after an illness. He was under a doctor´s care.

He was born in Crosbyton and married Pam Kennedy on Jan. 5, 1991, in Athens. He was a licensed vocational nurse at the Lutheran Home of West Texas in Lubbock. He graduated from Crosbyton High School and the College of the Desert in Palm Desert, Calif., and South Plains College in Levelland. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was attending the Texas Tech School of Nursing and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Disabled American Veterans.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Clyde C. Watson II [Claude Clayton Wallace II] of Slaton and Terry Woodhall of California; two daughters, April D. Taylor of Shallowater and Shanna Coats of Lubbock; a sister, Nettie Mae Skidmore of Shallowater; and five grandchildren.
