Obituary
Charlie H. Wall of Portales, NM, a former Crosbyton resident, was buried Saturday afternoon in Crosbyton Cemetery following memorial services at 4 p.m. that day in First United Methodist Church here. The Rev. Johnnie Williams, pastor, officiated.
Services also were held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Wheeler Mortuary Chapel in Portales, NM.
Adams Funeral Home directed local arrangements.
The 73 year old Wall died about 1:25 a.m. last Thursday, June 9, in Swisher Memorial Hospital in Tulia.
A native of Wise County, Mr. Wall and the former Leona Gossett were married in Wise County in March 1923. They resided in this community a number of years before moving in 1938 to Roosevelt County, NM, where he farmed and ranched southwest of Dora, NM.
Mrs. Wall is among survivors. Other survivors include two brothers, J.B. Wall of Portales, NM, and A.B. Wall of Crosbyton; seven nieces and nephews.
