Memorial services for Pauline Vega of 433 South Farmer were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Joseph´s Catholic Church. Father Malcomb Neyland, pastor, officiated.

Adams Funeral Home directed burial in Crosbyton Cemetery.

Mrs. Vega, 58, had been a Crosbyton resident since 1959 when she and her family moved here from Bryan.

She was claimed by death at 9:15 p.m. last Wednesday in Crosbyton after a sudden illness. Death was attributed to a heart attack.

The former Pauline Valderez was born March 18, 1924, in Mercedes. She and Richard Vega Sr. were married June 17, 1948, in Caldwell.

Mrs. Vega was a Catholic.

She is survived by her husband, Richard; one son, Salome Vega of Crosbyton; five daughters, Lena Pacleco and Maria Vega, both of Crosbyton, Rosa Ortego of Lubbock, Erlinda Carrasco of Pleasanton and Josephine Tambunga of Ralls; one brother, Felix Valderez of Livingston; one sister, Esebella Torres of Post; and 14 grandchildren.
