CROSBYTON (Special) - Services for Celia Valdez, 58, of Crosbyton will be at 2 p.m. today in Crosbyton First United Methodist Church with Miguel Casanova, pastor of Templo Maranatha Church in Crosbyton, officiating.Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
She died Monday, Feb. 17, 1997, in Lubbock´s Methodist Hospital.
She was born March 7, 1938, in Sinton. She moved to Crosbyton from Sinton in 1952. She was a member of Templo Maranatha Church in Crosbyton.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include four sons, Baldemar Flores and David Valdez, both of Plano, Daniel Valdez of Amarillo and Abel Valdez of Crosbyton; six daughters, Hermelinda V. Salinas of Crosbyton, Delia Gutierrez, Yolanda Valdez and Veronica Valdez, all of Amarillo, Elena Cervantes of Lubbock and Cristina DeLeon of Slaton; a brother, Placido Flores of Sinton; four sisters, Manuela Puentes of Taff, and Margarita Casanova, Hilaria Flores and Guadalupe Acevedo, all of Crosbyton; and 20 grandchildren.
