Graveside services for Faye Upham, 74, of Ralls were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Apr. 25, 2000, at Crosbyton Cemetery with the Rev. Randy Bartley, pastor of Ralls First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

She died Saturday, Apr. 22, 2000 at Covenant Hospital in Lubbock.

She was born Sept. 8, 1925, in Crosbyton.

She married Dwain William "Blackie" Upham on Mar. 28, 1976 in Levelland. He died Jan. 30, 1996.

She was a member of the Ralls First Baptist Church. She was a member of the Glory Singers. She attended Crosbyton Schools. She moved to Ralls in 1989 from Lubbock.

She is preceded in death by a son, Lawrence Clay Lawler in 1944, a daughter, Dennia Faye Cowan in 1998, and a sister Opal Anderson.

Survivors include a son, Hoss Lawler of Lamesa, a daughter, Pat Gray of Waco, her mother, Elvie Mackey of Lamesa; two brothers, Cecil Richardson of Abernathy, and Elton Richardson of Idalou; two sisters, Willie Lampp of Sulphur Springs and Nancy Gray of Brownfield; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
