Obituary
Funeral services for Gordon Lee Tyler, 66, were held at 3 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayland Boyd of Amarillo officiating. He was assisted by the Rev. Ernest Stewart of Crosbyton.
Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of King Funeral Home.
Tyler, a resident of Crosbyton since 1916, died at 11 a.m. Sunday at the Crosbyton hospital after suffering an apparent heart attack at his home.
Tyler was born in Fannin County and moved here in 1916. He was a painting contractor.
He is survived by his wife, Veda; one son, James of Hobbs, NM; two daughters, Mrs. Arron Justus of Crosbyton and Mrs. Burnice McMillan of Lubbock; one sister, Mrs. John Blackburn of Crosbyton; two grandchildren.
