Graveside services for Frieda Turpin, 85, of Lubbock were held Wednesday, Sept. 16, 1998, in Crosbyton Cemetery with the Leonard Harper, minister of the Crosbyton Church of Christ, officiating.
Burial was under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
She died Sunday, Sept. 13, 1998, in Heritage Oaks Nursing Home in Lubbock.
Turpin was born on Nov. 17, 1912, in Sayre, OK. She was a member of the Church of Christ and the Rebecca Lodge. She was a member of the Idalou Sheriff Posse. She attended Hurlwood schools.
Survivors include a son, Gerry Harden of Flower Mound; a daughter, Beth Ellison of Lubbock; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
