Memorial services for Mae J. Trulock, longtime owner operator of the Smith House, were conducted at 10 a.m. last Thursday in the First United Methodist Church. Glen Gray, local Church of Christ minister, officiated.
Interment was made in Crosbyton Cemetery, under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
Mrs. Trulock, 83, succumbed at 4 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital after a prolonged illness.
The Groesbeck native moved to Crosbyton 25 years ago. She had operated the Smith House since that time.
Mrs. Trulock was a Crosbyton Garden Club member and a volunteer nurse with the Red Cross.
Survivors include one son, Ed J. Shelton of DeSoto; four grandchildren; and a great grandchild.
