Jean ended her battle with cancer on Wednesday, April 22, 2009. She may have lost the battle, but the victory had already been won by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was born Nov. 25, 1956, in Crosbyton, to Jim and Berneice (Anderson) Humphreys. On June 26, 1976, she married Clifford Trull in Spur. She was raised on the Pitchfork Ranch and graduated from Patton Springs High School. Jean attended Texas Tech University and was an active member of the Crosbyton First Baptist Church. She had a heart for missions and loved to cook and serve others. She served on the First Baptist Church remodeling committee and was chairman of the Mission Committee. She had lived in the Crosbyton area most of her adult life.

She is preceded in death by her father, Jim Humphreys, who died June 9, 2007.

Survivors include her husband, Clifford of Crosbyton; a son and his wife, Neill and Lindsay Trull of Brownwood; two daughters, Martha Ann Hammond and husband Bobby of Euless, and Suzanne Trull of Lubbock; her mother, Berneice Humphreys of Lubbock; a brother, Jimbo Humphreys and wife Winona of Dickens; two sisters, LeAnn Lawson of Lubbock, and Jane Penman of New Braunfels; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.
