Obituary

U.S.Flag     Graveside services for Perry Clifton Tillson, 78, of Crosbyton were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Mar. 25, 1989, in Crosbyton Cemetery with Jim York, a Church of Christ pastor, officiating.

Burial was under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

He died at 9:55 a.m. Thursday, Mar. 24, 1989, in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital after a lengthy illness.

He was born in West and moved from Lampasas to Crosbyton in 1965. His wife, Violet Wylie Tillson, died in 1959. He was a Boy Scout leader and a member of the National Rifle Association and the Archer Club. He was a farmer and a member of the Church of Christ. A son, James Clifton, died in 1974.

Survivors include a son, Sanford Lee of Garland; two brothers, Clovis of Bloomfield, NM and Raymond of Spicewood; two sisters, Mavis Barnett of Kerrville and Opal Moore of Crosbyton; and three grandchildren.
