Services for Jesse Ochoa Tambunga, Sr., 83, of Crosbyton, will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 17, 2010 at the Templo Maranatha in Crosbyton with Salome Casanova, Mike Casanova and Pete Flores officiating. Burial will follow in the Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
Mr. Tambunga passed away Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock. He was born February 12, 1927 in Hondo, Texas to the late Pedro and Delfina (Ochoa) Tambunga. He married Luisa Munoz November 27, 1952 in Crosby County. He moved to Crosbyton in 1955 where he was a farmer and a member of the Templo Maranatha.
He is survived by his wife, Luisa Tambunga of Crosbyton, two sons, Jesse Tambunga, Jr. And John Tambunga, both of Crosbyton and one daughter, Irma Boello of Cone, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Serving as casket bearers will be Ramiro Garcia, Zeke Boello, Dulce Flores, Johnny Tambunga, Johnny Tambunga, Jr. and David Castillo.
