CROSBYTON — Services for Jim Talbott, 69, of Crosbyton will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Les Griffin officiating.

Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.

He died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2003.

He was born Dec. 7, 1933, in Rexford, Kan., and married Alta Faye Martin on April 11, 1964, in Crosbyton. He moved to Crosbyton in 1964 and worked for Crosby County as a road foreman and heavy equipment operator from 1971 until his retirement in December 1995.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Randy Rape of Slaton; four daughters, Jamie Blazier of Moore, Okla., Barbara Winningham of Amarillo, Freda Hitt of Crosbyton and Leesa Diaz of Ralls; two brothers, Leslie of Raton, N.M., and Russell of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two sisters, Eva McKnight of Wildorado and Marie Shaw of Slaton; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
