Obituary

CROSBYTON (Special) — L. E. Sursa, 81, longtime Crosbyton resident, died at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in a Ralls nursing home.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in the First Baptist Church here. Officiating will be the Rev. Wayland Boyd of Amarillo and the Rev. Ernest Stewart, pastor. Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery directed by King Funeral Home.

Sursa moved to the Crosbyton area in 1924. He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. J.W. Payne of Ralls; two sons, Travis of Ralls and Edgar of Morton; three sisters, Mrs. Eula Houston of Houston, Mrs. Iva Summers of Little Rock AR, and Mrs. Flora Hall of Wichita Falls; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
