Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Friday in the First Baptist Church here for Mrs. Jessie Margaret Sursa, 74. Mrs. Sursa died at 1 p.m. Thursday after suffering a heart attack about 7 a.m. Thursday.The Rev. Ernest Stewart, pastor, officiated. He was assisted by Bill Bryant, Church of Christ minister. Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of King Funeral Home.
A native of Bosque County, Mrs. Sursa moved to Crosby County in 1923.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Mrs. J.W. Payne of Ralls; two sons, Travis Sursa of Ralls and Edgar Sursa of Morton; a sister, Mrs. Carrie Latta of Crosbyton; a brother, J.A. Lee of Abilene; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
